Finding the Leaders of the Future
Roleplay and graduate assessment
- The Client
- A UK supermarket
- The Solution
- Working closely with the client, run a one-day workshop involving a team of six actors to build profiles of and to role-play the various fictitious employees. Teams of three actors attend each assessment centre to role-play with delegates.
- The Outcome
- A consistent standard of characterisation ensuring that each graduate is provided with a consistent standard of response no matter which actor they interact with.
- The Benefit
- The use of roleplay adds to the recruitment process a means by which to measure social and interaction skills in testing business-related situations.
