CentreStage is working with a leading City of London investment bank to deliver communication skills training to 26 summer interns.
Many firms find that investment in summer training schemes for holidaying students brings benefits to the company and gives valuable experience to the participants.
Many of them have little or no formal training in the area of general communication skills and sometimes feel intimidated when dealing with full-time staff and members of the public.
The bespoke three hour workshop, to take place in July, will give students an insight into the use of body language to create the right impression, the basics of face-to-face customer service and various strategies for dealing with ‘difficult’ people.
With only three hours to get the messages across, CentreStage will employ a range of roleplay, forum theatre, physical exercises and magic to create a lively, fun-filled event.
