A Leading Role For Customer Service

28th October 2009

The curtain went up on a rousing performance at First Friday Club's September meeting. An audience of 80 members of the networking club gave CentreStage Roleplay a standing ovation for the actors' presentation on improving customer service.

Scenes by the actors demonstrated the effects of good and bad customer service experiences.

Ascot-based CentreStage performs what it calls forum theatre, where actors play out workplace scenarios on demand so that staff can consider the ways behaviour can be interpreted.

First Friday Club is a joint venture between the Reading Chronicle, the Jazz Club, Reading 107 and design and print specialists Qwerty.

It is sponsored by letting agent Jon Hallett and food is sponsored by Warings bakery and Sushi one-0-eight.

The next meeting is on Friday October 2, when the speaker will be Matt Payne from financial advisors Fox Payne Associates.
